MMX Two Piece Forged Wheel MFS04
Quality Standard: SSDP JWL VIA
SSDP—an intuitive acronym representing the MMX product philosophy: Safety, Stability, Durability, and Performance. Safety remains the core foundation of all MMX forged wheel products.
The SSDP standard is built upon years of technical expertise, in-house vehicle testing, and real-world feedback across varying road conditions. It reflects the evolving demands of today’s aftermarket, where customers are running increasingly lower-profile tires.
Lower aspect ratios reduce sidewall cushioning, leading to harsher impacts on wheels and greater stress on hubs. As a result, wheels must meet higher standards of impact resistance and fatigue performance.
SSDP improves upon international standards (SAE, PCT, JWL) by introducing more rigorous testing protocols, including:
- 30° and 90° impact tests
- Deformation radial fatigue testing
- Increased thresholds for cornering and radial fatigue
Introducing SSDP+: Enhanced Endurance Standards
To push performance even further, MMX has launched SSDP+, an advanced quality system standard designed to achieve over 1 million fatigue cycles. SSDP+ is now applied to all MMX forged wheel products. Wheels meeting this higher benchmark will feature an engraved SSDP+ logo.
